I was delivering pizzas as my summer job. And the dog was some sort of collie mix I think (mostly mutt). The only time I ever got attacked by a dog I was like 17 but at that point was over 200 lbs and lived in the weight room. I'm okay with that.Д¬lick to expand.Yeah no shit. I later found out that it ended up buried in the woods after he put it down with his service pistol. He told my cousin that the dog wasn't a 'Good dog' and was going to the local animal shelter.

This dog simply didn't have the temperament to be a safe pet. He had successfully raised and owned other dogs.

We weren't hollering or running, we were playing with GI Joe action figures. The dog wanted another piece but we got back into the house. It got worse to the point that at 2 years old it bit my cousin's hand when we were playing in the yard. The dog was a mix with German Shephard in it. My cousin got a puppy for his 6th birthday.

I'm Pro 2A and I feel the same way about gun owners who don't secure firearms around children. The owners need to be held accountable in criminal and civil court. You need to secure dogs like this away from the vulnerable. What the f*ck is up with negligent dog owners? Every damn year a bunch of children get attacked and killed by dogs like this. That's to say nothing of their aesthetics, agility, athleticism, build, boundless energy and ferocity ( when called upon). The GSD is a majestic dog with a vastly more advanced emotional and social compass compared to most breeds. The intelligence of these dogs is fucking incredible, he's already learned and follows numerous commands. My first one, he's only 10 weeks old and I'm quite content. We had three loyal Rottweilers I had grown up with in the back going absolutely insane but there was nothing they could do. Thankfully, it was winter and only got me by the back of my jacket but the thing dragged me like 20 feet in two seconds. I told this story a few months ago but I got mauled by a Pit that came running into our front yard when I was 8 years old. Sure, some extremely capable trainers/owners can make it much less likely that a pit is aggressive, but the breeding is still there. You can't ever fully get rid of what they were BRED to do, that's the thing.
